Continuing Education for Rehabilitation Professionals

An Evidence-Based Memory Intervention

Lecture Name

An Evidence-Based Memory Intervention     $44.93

This lecture is part of the following course:
Spaced Retrieval Step by Step

Description

If you are looking for an effective way to support individuals with memory loss, this course will provide you with a fresh approach to Spaced Retrieval (SR). The professors will take you through this innovative process step by step, allowing you to assist people in learning the important information needed to improve independence, safety and quality of life. Using this proven memory-training strategy allows people to learn and store important information so that, with practice, it can be easily accessed and retrieved.

Whether you have used SR techniques in the past or you are new to this innovative approach to supporting memory, you will find this course provides new tools to help improve your clinical practice. Speech-language pathologists, occupational and physical therapists, nurses, and homecare professionals can use SR to bring more confidence, safety, and independence into the lives of people with memory loss and their care partners.
