How do you choose your eProfessors & topics?
We are highly involved in medical education circles and attend many professional meetings where we monitor the quality and popularity of courses and speakers. We also rely on our eProfessors and your recommendations to develop new courses. Yes, we DO listen to our members suggestions.
-
How long do you store my continuing education certificates?
Educata is unique in this feature and we will keep your completed course certificates in your Educata vault for five years after completion of a course. This gives you ample time to retrieve course certificates when needed for re-licensure or your resume.
-
Are these courses approved for my state?
Many (but not all) states require course approval to be counted towards education credit for re-licensure. Educata strives to obtain approval from your state and when approved, follows specific reporting requirements of your state. We list approvals for each course. Should you have any specific questions, please email us at registrar@educata.com
-
Do I need any special programs on my computer to run your courses?
No! That’s the beauty of Educata’s technology. All computers will run our programs. We ask you to allow pop-ups while taking our courses. You may find better performance with 512 MB or more of RAM.
-
Why do some courses require prerequisite courses?
This is a requirement established by your eProfessor who is concerned you have specific baseline knowledge to understand concepts presented in a course. We want you to achieve maximum benefit from each Educata course.
-
What computer skills are required to take Educata courses?

What internet browser work with Educata programs?
We support:
- Internet Explorer 6.0 and higher (Windows)

-
What modem speed is required/preferred?
We recommend a broadband Internet like DSL, Cable or a company LAN on a T1 or higher. If you have a dial-up connection it may still work fine but performance may be less than desirable. If you're not sure run through the "Test Drive" presentation linked to from the home page to make sure the experience is tolerable for your situation.

What is Educata's guarantee?
We take great pride in bringing you high quality education presented by educators who are tops in their areas of expertise. We want to exceed your expectations, but if, for some reason, you’re not satisfied during a course, we’ll give you 100% credit towards another course of your choice. Just don’t complete the course and the ‘Evidence of Learning’ section and send an email to us at registrar@educata.com stating why the course didn’t live up to your expectations. It’s that simple.
