Lecture Name

Myth Busters     $29.95

This lecture is part of the following course:
Risk Factors for Cancer-related Upper Quadrant Lymphedema

In this course, Dr. Lisa VanHoose debunks myths and commonly-held but inaccurate beliefs as to the factors that lead to cancer-related upper quadrant lymphedema. She uses a case study of an older woman with a history of upper extremity lymphedema to discuss the risk factors that are supported by evidence and case studies, as compared to those risk factors that may be discussed in the healthcare community but may not be supported by research.

This course was originally presented as a webinar in July 2019.

Dr. VanHoose also presents in-person workshops that are co-sponsored by EDUCATA. To learn more about these workshops, please visit
